Sitting right in that sweet spot at a 6/10 medium flex, it’s stable and supportive at high speeds without feeling unyielding or exhausting on legs during late-day laps. The secret sauce is the Tapered UnderBite outline—by segmenting the sidecut into three distinct stepped sections, YES gave this deck the float and maneuverability of a powder board, but with an effective edge length that grips hardpack like a traditional carving board. Pair that with a fast Sintered Base and lightweight Fluid Core, and you have one of the most versatile freeride boards ever built."

• CamRock Profile: Features traditional camber between the inserts for high-speed stability, pop, and carve drive, transitioning to rockered zones at the tip and tail for float in deep snow and smooth turn initiation.

• Tapered UnderBite Outline: Segmenting the effective edge into three distinct sections steps horizontally inward toward the tail. This allows the tail to sink naturally in pow while maintaining continuous edge engagement on hardpack.

• Fluid Core Matrix: A precision-engineered 50/50 blend of paulownia and poplar wood strips designed to reduce overall swing weight while delivering consistent torsional strength and dampening.

• Freestyle I-Carbon Stringers: Carbon stringers running in an I-beam profile from the front inserts toward the nose increase tip stiffness, prevent chatter at high speeds, and enhance nose float.

• Sintered Base: High-density, porous polyethylene base built to absorb max wax, resist impact damage, and hold top-end speed across all snow temperatures.
