Spark R&D Arc ST Splitboard Bindings 2027

Color: Black

Size: M
Sale price$499.00

The Spark R&D Arc ST is a lightweight, medium-flex splitboard binding built for riders who want efficient touring and a surfy, responsive feel on the descent. It excels in powder, trees, and long backcountry days while still offering enough support for more technical all-mountain terrain.

Spark’s Tesla T1 system uses a pinless Snap Ramp design for quick transitions between tour and ride mode, while Smooth Touring (ST) technology reduces friction and improves durability at the touring brackets and climbing wires. The CNC-machined cutout baseplate helps keep weight down, and the Asym Rip 'N' Flip highbacks use a medium-flex glass-fiber blend for lateral mobility and a more surfy ride feel.

The Arc ST also features Spark’s one-piece Pillow Line straps, including a smaller ankle strap with a flex window for added mobility. Integrated ST Whammy Bars provide 12° and 18° climbing positions and can be adjusted with a pole while touring. Each binding uses Burton ratchets along with Spark’s cold-tolerant in-house thermoplastic ladders and adjusters.

At 1.38 lbs / 628 g per binding in size Medium, the Arc ST is built to keep touring weight low without giving up the durability needed for serious backcountry use.

Model: Arc ST
Season: 2026/2027

Milosport Shop Take

The Arc ST is the move for splitboarders who want a lighter, more playful binding without going into ultra-light race-style territory. Compared with the stiffer Surge ST, the Arc uses softer highbacks and straps plus a more aggressively cut-out baseplate, making it especially good for powder, trees, longer tours, and riders who like a surfier feel. Spark specifically positions the Arc as its lighter, medium-flex option, while the Surge is aimed at larger or more aggressive riders who want extra response.
