Korua Transition Finder Snowboard

Color: Brush White

Size: 150
Sale price$579.00

Big Turns, Deep Snow and Plenty of Fun

The KORUA Transition Finder is one of those boards that can make just about any day on the mountain more fun. It has a big surf inspired nose, a directional shape and enough tail to let you get creative when the terrain calls for it.

The Transition Finder sits in a really good spot in the KORUA lineup. It has plenty of float and loves to carve, but it is not so directional that you have to ride it one way all day. Take it into the trees, open it up on a groomer, find some side hits or point it toward a fresh line. This board is happy doing all of it.

Why We Like It at Milosport

The Transition Finder is a great choice for the rider who wants that KORUA feel without going all in on a dedicated powder or carving board.

At Milo, we like boards that give you a reason to keep riding when the conditions change throughout the day. The Transition Finder does that really well. The Float Camber gives the nose plenty of lift in soft snow while the camber under your feet keeps the board solid when you are laying into a groomer.

It also has more freestyle potential than you might expect from a board this directional. You can pop off natural features, hit side hits and even ride a little switch when you need to.

If you want one KORUA that can handle a lot of different days, this is a really good place to start.

How It Rides

Powder

The big rockered nose gives the Transition Finder plenty of float and keeps the board moving through deeper snow without a lot of work.

Groomers

This is where the KORUA personality really comes through. Put it on edge and let it turn. The camber underfoot gives you plenty of grip and stability when you want to make big trenches.

Trees

The directional shape and shorter tail make it easy to move through tighter terrain while the nose keeps you floating when the snow gets deeper.

Side Hits

This is one of the things that separates the Transition Finder from some of the more specialized KORUA shapes. It has enough tail and pop to make natural features fun.

Switch

You can ride this board switch. It is not a true twin and that is not what it is designed to be, but the shape is surprisingly manageable when you need to change things up.

Who Is It For

The Transition Finder is for the rider who wants a directional board that can do a lot more than just chase powder.

It is a great choice if you spend your days carving groomers, riding trees, looking for side hits and getting into the backcountry when conditions are good.

If you want a board that is more focused on deep powder and big surfy turns, check out the KORUA Dart.

If you want something more balanced for freestyle and riding switch, take a look at the KORUA Otto.
