Korua Apollo Snowboard
A True Asymmetrical Experience
The Korua Apollo Snowboard is not just another asymmetrical snowboard. Korua went all the way with this one, designing the swallow shape, sidecut, effective edge, scoop and flex around the different mechanics of your toe and heel turns.
The Apollo is inspired by asymmetrical surfboards and has no parallel lines. The result is a snowboard that feels incredibly natural when you get it on edge and start laying into a deep carve. It is available in 157 and 162, with Regular and Goofy specific versions.
This is a specialized carving machine, and that is exactly what makes it so fun.
Shop Take
The Apollo is one of those boards that makes you rethink what a snowboard can do. Korua did not just change the sidecut and call it an asymmetrical board. Every part of the shape is designed around how your body actually moves through a turn.
The asymmetrical scoop is offset to work with the trajectory of the board during deep carves, while the 29mm of taper keeps the tail loose and lets the board drive naturally through the turn. Add the stiff carbon construction and the Apollo feels fast, powerful and seriously locked in when you start pushing it.
You can even run a posi posi stance to really unlock the Apollo. Set it up correctly and a groomer turns into your own personal carving playground.
This is one of our favorite Korua boards for experienced riders who want something completely different. It is not the board we'd hand someone looking for an easy all mountain ride. It is the board we'd hand the rider who says, "I want to see what this thing can do."
