The internal team at K2 Snowboarding has been dreaming of the Hypnotist for a few years, and there is no better time than the present to release our baby. This premium freestyle snowboard is built for the more advanced to expert snowboarder, transitions, on hips, and on medium to large terrain park features. We leaned on our trusty tri blend BAP core as the foundation for the Hypnotist. We have added our Carbon DarkWeb to speed up transitions from edge to edge, and our new tip to tail Carbon Backbone to increase snap.

The Hypnotist is the premium park performance deck we have been waiting for. The Milo crew loves how this pure twin traditional camber layout feels incredibly stable when sending large jump lines and charging hard pack transitions. By utilizing aerospace grade SpaceGlass in the tip and tail, K2 dropped the swing weight significantly, which means you can spin that extra 180 with total ease. Between the explosive pop of the Carbon Backbone and the quick edge response from the Carbon DarkWeb, this board is built to boost higher and lock into carves with absolute authority.

Milo Staff Setup Recommendation

To handle the explosive pop and elite park performance of the Hypnotist, you need a high response freestyle interface. We highly recommend pairing this snowboard with a set of Union Strata or Union Force bindings. The Union Strata provides incredible vibration dampening for heavy park landings while the Force offers the locked in, durable ankle support required to drive this carbon loaded camber deck deep into transition.
