Public Snowboards: Built Around Community, Style, and Having Fun
At Milosport, we have always believed snowboarding is about more than just the gear. It is about the people behind the brands, the riders who push the sport forward, and the community that makes snowboarding what it is.
That is one of the reasons we have been excited about Public Snowboards since the beginning.
Milosport was one of the first shops to carry Public when the brand launched in 2015. From the start, we connected with what Public was trying to create. This was not just another snowboard company trying to make another snowboard. It was a brand built around bringing people together and making snowboarding more fun.
Built by snowboarders, not marketers
Public was started by Joe Sexton with a simple idea, that snowboarding needed more community.
Joe has been a huge part of snowboarding for years. His riding, creativity, and style have influenced generations of snowboarders, but what stands out most is his connection to the people around him. Public was created to feel personal, approachable, and connected to the riders who support it.
He’s also a close friend of the Milosport crew, and being able to support a brand built by someone we know and trust makes it even more special.
A team that actually reflects snowboarding
One of the best things about Public is the team behind it.
They are snowboarders first. They understand the culture, they understand the product, and they understand that the best days on a snowboard are usually the ones spent riding with friends.
Public has built a team that represents what we love about snowboarding—different styles, different backgrounds, and different ways of looking at the mountain.
From the creativity and style of Ben Bilodeau to the riding and personality of Danyale Patterson, Kas Lemmens, and Darrell Mathes, the Public team represents the idea that snowboarding is better when everyone brings their own style to it.
That mix is what keeps snowboarding interesting.

Boards made the right way
Public boards are built through Titan Manufacturing, one of the most respected snowboard factories in the world. The construction is solid, consistent, and built to handle real riding, not just shop talk.
That foundation lets Public focus on what matters most which is design, feel, and personality on snow.
Shop Influence
Public is hands down one of our favorite brands in the shop. Henry Macomber, Liv Ruddell, and myself all ride Public boards, and there’s a reason we keep coming back to them year after year they’re just really good snowboards.
Whether you're lapping the park, hitting jumps, crushing steel, or chasing a powder day, these boards can do it all. One of the coolest parts about working at Milo is that we get to ride pretty much everything we carry, but somehow we always end up back on Public.
If you're in the shop and have questions about Public, come chat with any of us. We've spent a lot of time on these boards and are always stoked to talk snowboarding and help you find the right setup. We'd love to get you on a Public board.

Why we carry Public at Milosport
Honestly, it is pretty simple. We like them.
We like the people behind it. We like how the boards ride. We like that it still feels like snowboarding, not just product.
There are a lot of snowboard brands out there, but the ones that stand out are the ones that feel connected to the community. Public is one of those brands.
These are boards that are fun to ride whether you’re progressing, hitting street spots, cruising with friends, or just getting a good day on the mountain.
That’s what snowboarding is supposed to be.
Still the same thing it’s always been
Snowboarding doesn’t need to be complicated.
Good boards. Good crew. Good days.
That’s Public.
And that’s why it fits right in at Milosport.
