The 2027 Nitro Quiver Series at Milo

It might still be summer, but winter is starting to feel a whole lot closer.

Pro Sale is right around the corner, and the first rounds of 2027 snowboard gear are beginning to show up at the shop, including a fresh batch of Nitro Quiver Series boards.

Seeing these shapes hit the wall always gets us stoked. The Quiver Series is Nitro’s creative space, a place to explore new shapes, materials, and ideas that allow riders to build out their board collection and experience the mountain differently.

Some are designed to carve fast and lay deep trenches. Others are built to float through powder, move quickly through trees, or bring a more surf-inspired feeling to the mountain. There is even an asymmetrical twin for riders who want to jib, butter, and take a freestyle approach across the entire resort.

For 2027, the collection continues to grow with two completely new models, meaningful shape and size updates, and a wider range of options for different riders.

Here is a closer look at what the Quiver Series is all about, what changed for 2027, and where each board fits.

A Brief History of the Nitro Quiver Series

The Nitro Quiver Series started as a small three-board collection built around rail riding, all-mountain riding, and powder.

The idea was simple: instead of asking one snowboard to handle everyday, build different boards that each deliver their own experience. The collection has largely been driven by Nitro team rider Bryan Fox and Nitro co-founder and board shaper Tommy Delago, with the freedom to chase an idea simply because it might make snowboarding more fun.

For 2027, Christy Prior has officially joined the Quiver crew, bringing her perspective on shapes and women’s snowboarding into the development process. Her involvement has already led to a completely new women’s model, new smaller sizes, and a broader range of Quiver boards for more riders.

The lineup has grown far beyond those original three boards, but the point is still the same.

These are boards with distinct personalities, built to change the way you experience the mountain.

What Is New for 2027?

Two Completely New Models

The Mastercarve and Ika are both new for 2027.

The Mastercarve is the first dedicated soft-boot carving board in the Quiver Series. The Ika is a women’s-exclusive fish designed with Christy Prior for float, speed, and flowing turns through deeper snow.

New and Expanded Sizes

The Cannon gains a new 163, bringing its unmistakable swallowtail shape into a much more manageable package than the legendary 203.

The Slash adds a new 144 women’s size, the Fintwin adds a new 141, and the Banker receives new 148 and 152 sizes.

A Reworked Banker

The Banker gets more than a graphic update for 2027. The shapes have been adjusted, the platform is slightly wider, and the expanded size range makes one of Nitro’s most versatile directional boards available to a much broader group of riders.

New Graphics Across the Collection

The entire Quiver lineup also gets a clean and cohesive new graphic direction.

Small hand-drawn illustrations sit between the bindings with subtle gloss-on-matte details. Every board still has its own personality, but the whole collection feels connected when you see it together on the wall.

Nitro Banker

The Everyday Quiver Board

The Banker is the most versatile board in the Quiver Series and probably the easiest place to start for someone who still wants one board to handle a lot of different days.

Its directional shape, full camber, mid-wide platform, and progressive sidecut make it fast and responsive without turning it into a one-dimensional carving board.

It holds an edge at speed, drives confidently through turns, and still feels manageable through powder, trees, side hits, and regular resort laps.

For 2027, the updated shapes and slightly wider platform give the Banker even more stability. The addition of 148 and 152 sizes also opens the board up to smaller riders without changing what makes it so good.

Choose the Banker if: You want a powerful directional board that can carve hard while still working as an everyday resort setup.

Best for: Carving, speed, mixed conditions, powder, side hits, and aggressive all-mountain riding.

Nitro Slash

The Surfy All-Mountain Option

The Slash is built for riders who want a looser, more surf-inspired feeling without giving up the control of full camber.

Its tapered directional shape and wide platform create plenty of float, while Nitro’s 3D Surf Tech helps the board move smoothly through powder and spring slush.

The three-dimensional base uses a convex nose to help the board plane through soft snow, paired with a more defined tail section for added control through the turn.

It still has the edge hold and energy needed for groomers, but the Slash is less about driving through every turn as hard as possible and more about flow, slashes, and smooth movement through changing snow.

The new 144 size brings that same ride to smaller riders for 2027.

Choose the Slash if: You want a wide, surfy directional board that floats easily but still feels strong and controlled on firm snow.

Best for: Powder, spring slush, trees, smooth carving, and a looser all-mountain feel.

Nitro Mastercarve

The New All-Mountain Fun Carver

The Mastercarve is completely new for 2027 and fills a role the Quiver Series has never had this clearly before.

This is a snowboard built around the turn itself.

Inspired by the wide carving boards of the late 1980s, it combines that old-school influence with modern shaping and construction. Its full camber, progressive sidecut, mid-wide waist, and stiff flex are designed to provide serious edge control and speed without feeling like a full race board.

The Mastercarve also uses more responsive Tri-Lite laminates and aluminum tail protection. It comes in a single 159 mid-wide size.

This is not the loose or playful board in the collection. It is for riders who want to trust an edge, get low, and turn a clean groomer into the entire reason for going snowboarding.

Choose the Mastercarve if: Carving is the priority and you want a powerful board built specifically around deep, controlled turns.

Best for: Groomers, high speeds, deep edge angles, technical carving, and experienced riders.

Nitro Ika

A True Fish Swallowtail

The Ika is the other completely new Quiver model for 2027.

Designed with Christy Prior, it is a women’s-exclusive fish built for float, agility, and speed through deep or lower-angle powder. Its tapered swallowtail allows the tail to sink naturally, helping the wider nose stay above the snow with less effort.

Cam-Out Camber keeps it responsive underfoot while making the tip and tail more forgiving. The Reflex Core Profile adds torsional control, and its progressive sidecut helps the board move quickly and confidently between turns.

The Ika comes in a single 152 mid-wide size with a medium-stiff flex.

More than anything, this board is about finding rhythm. It encourages drawn-out turns, smooth movement, and a more surf-inspired connection to the terrain.

Choose the Ika if: You want a women’s fish shape built around float, agility, and flowing powder turns.

Best for: Powder, lower-angle terrain, hidden stashes, quick edge changes, and riders who value flow over aggression.

Nitro Basher

The Friendly Freestyle ATV

The Basher is the freestyle board of the Quiver Series.

While most of the collection leans directional, the Basher uses a centered asymmetrical twin shape built for riding switch, jibbing, buttering, and taking a freestyle approach across the entire mountain.

Its Flat-Out Rocker profile gives it more pressability and forgiveness than the cambered directional boards around it. Nitro’s 3D Twin Tech adds convex shaping in the nose and tail with a more controlled section through the middle, creating a loose, surfy feeling while keeping enough stability underfoot.

The Basher is playful enough for rails and mellow park laps, but it still has the float and control to carve groomers, ride powder, and hit natural features around the resort.

This is the Quiver board I am most excited to ride this season. Rails, jumps, and side hits make up a big part of how I ride, but I still want something that is fun outside the park. The Basher feels like a natural fit: softer and more forgiving when I want to jib, but still capable enough to ride wherever the day takes me.

Choose the Basher if: You want an all-mountain freestyle board that presses, rides switch naturally, and is not limited to park laps.

Best for: Rails, butters, side hits, switch riding, freestyle, powder, and playful days around the resort.

Nitro Dinghy

The Wide Quiver Workhorse

The Dinghy is Nitro’s wide, volume-shifted Quiver option.

Its tapered directional shape and wide platform provide plenty of float, while full camber and a progressive sidecut keep it responsive on groomers.

It feels at home in low-angle trees, deep powder, and wide-open resort terrain. It is also the clearest Quiver choice for riders with larger boots who need more platform without wanting a slow or bulky board.

The Dinghy is wide where it counts, but it still feels quick enough to move through tight terrain and powerful enough to carve on firmer snow.

Choose the Dinghy if: You want a wide directional board with plenty of float that can still carve and handle everyday resort riding.

Best for: Powder, trees, groomers, larger boots, and riders who prefer a wider platform.

Nitro Fintwin

The Versatile Shortboard

The Fintwin is the more approachable and versatile swallowtail in the Quiver lineup.

Its shorter, volume-shifted shape keeps it quick and maneuverable, while its wide nose, taper, and swallowtail create float in softer snow. Cam-Out Camber gives it enough response for groomers without making it overly demanding.

The result is a board that feels natural in powder and trees but remains fun after the snow gets tracked out or softens into spring slush.

For 2027, Nitro has added a new 141 size developed with Christy Prior. That shorter model also uses a thinner core profile to provide better torsional control for lighter riders.

The Fintwin also uses a durable extruded base rather than the faster sintered base found on most of the Quiver collection. That makes it easier to maintain and helps keep it one of the more accessible boards in the series.

Choose the Fintwin if: You want a compact swallowtail that feels quick in powder and trees but still works across changing resort conditions.

Best for: Powder, trees, groomers, spring slush, traveling, and riders who enjoy shorter boards.

Nitro Cannon

The Board Everyone Notices

The Cannon is the board that gets people talking before it ever touches snow.

Its long nose and deep swallowtail create one of the most recognizable shapes in snowboarding. It is built to float through deep snow, carry speed across open terrain, and draw long, surf-inspired turns.

The legendary 203 remains in the lineup, but the big story for 2027 is the new 163.

The shorter size keeps the Cannon’s defining shape and personality but puts it into a package that makes far more sense for tighter terrain, smaller riders, and normal resort days.

The 203 is still the statement piece. It is huge, unmistakable, and completely different from almost anything else on the hill.

The 163 makes the Cannon experience accessible to a lot more people.

Choose the Cannon if: You want a true specialty swallowtail built around float, speed, long turns, and an experience completely different from a regular snowboard.

Best for: Deep snow, open faces, long carves, high-speed powder turns, and riders who want something unmistakably different.
