2027 Gear is hitting the shops hard...Take a peak

What is the staff hyped on? Take a look below 

As the temps start to drop in SLC, we are thinking about next winter. 2027 product has been flooding the internet and I know the snowboard nerds are studying up.

It's the perfect time to beat the heat, stop by, check out some new gear, and talk shop with the staff.

I love to see the new gear and these items in particular have caught my eye:

The Rome Rene. A board that looks as good as it rides. This board is a directional twin full camber all-mountain freestyle machine. After taking one lap on this thing, I was hooked. I felt super comfy hitting rails, jumps, and carving. Stable at high speeds, poppy, and good edge hold. Anyone can ride this board, from your beginner looking to step it up, or your seasoned vet who is looking for another fun ride. Maybe just keep the newbies off this thing.. The graphic is just as good as the ride. Clean all white and some throwback vibes for sure. Rome also makes the Rene pro, all black instead of white and stiff. If you think every board is soft, get the Rene Pro and skip the regular my g. The Rene hits and I am definitely trying to get this in my lineup for the 2027 season.

Next up, we have the Nitro Zaza Snowboard, a creation by Iris Pham and the Nitro crew. I’m hyped on this one because it's an approachable do-all park board with a dope rider behind it. Iris has been on a tear the last few years and has shown no signs of slowing down. It's got that full camber tang and medium-stiff flex to handle all aspects of the mountain. Not too stiff, but poppy. Not to mention the graphic is done by our guy Griffin Seibert! If you aren’t familiar with Iris, time to clock in. Go check her boarding in “Spike,” a Nitro Snowboards film. I hope the ladies are stoked on this one like I am! I hope to see a few of these on the mountain next winter.

Stepping away from boards, next we have the Vans Super Standard Boot. This Vans boot caught my eye the second I heard about it. It comes with the soft outer shell normally found on the Vans Hi-Standard OG, and a V3 Liner typically found in their stiffer, higher-end boots like the Verse or Viaje. All for the price of  $234.99, which knocks any other Vans boot with a V3 liner out of the park. This boot is unique because there are very few soft high-end boots on the market. It’s cool to see Vans dropping a boot that features a high-end supportive liner at a price everyone can get down with. I know Jill Perkins has been rocking them. Curious to see how they do next winter!

Autumn stepped into the outerwear game a few seasons back and they are here to stay. They crushed at the shop this winter, and I expect nothing less for next winter. I am particularly hyped on the Yard Snow Jacket. It's a two-layer jacket with 10k breathability for $219.99. The price point is great for a warm winter jacket. If you are headed up to Brighton, this is your guy. I’m going for the Army colorway all day. I am also a fan of the rollable hood. Hood off for the sunny days and hood on for those powder days. Between tech, function, and style, Autumn has it dialed.
