Dakine started out in 1979 making surfboard leashes and quickly gained recognition for innovative designs and quality manufacturing.  Between 1981 and 1984 they continued to make many great products like the 1st adjustable windsurfing straps and harnesses. Dakine opened its American office in Hood River, OR in 1986 and really started to gain momentum when they broke into the snowboard market. Milosport started carrying Dakine’s early snowboarding accessories, and we now carry a variety of their products from gloves, to laces, to wax, to bags.
